Transportation for Oregon’s Future at Pints and Politics

Join OLCV, friends and community members who care about protecting Oregon’s natural legacy for Pints and Politics.

Special guests Kim Curley with Commute Options, Chris Hagerbaumer with Oregon Environmental Council, and Jackson Lester with the Central Oregon Intergovernmental Council will give a presentation about Oregon’s opportunity to compete in the 21st Century. Our state must move beyond the old highways-focused approach and invest in one that is people-focused. Urban and rural Oregonians deserve a modern, connected transportation system with safe, affordable, healthy options for everyone.

Learn how you can support safer streets, sidewalks, crosswalks and the Safe Routes to School program and find out what transit services need in order to meet increasing demand and connect communities. Join us to find out how you can take action to ensure that Oregon’s next transportation package addresses pressing urban and rural transportation needs.

WHEN: Thursday, March 16 from 7:00-9:00 p.m.
WHERE: Broken Top Bottle Shop at 1740 NW Pence Ln, Bend
